The Modern 60s

Things have been going do wonderfully for me lately! Lookbook is sending me another Collection B jacket to model, I'm going to be featured in a South Korean fashion magazine, I'm shooting my first wedding this month, I almost have all the money I need to buy my new camera, My new lens is came in the mail, and I'm crazy collaborating with other bloggers and artists. Plus I have all of you lovely followers; all 116 of you! Thank you guys! I swear you're all the best. But I'm just very happy. I hope every one of you is as happy :)

Any way! One of these ladies is Brigitte Bardot and one is Mick Jagger's daughter, Georgia.
Can you tell who is who?

It's so unbelievable how much Georgia looks like Brigitte, especially since it is rumored that Mick and Brigitte had a fling back in the 60s. Georgia is now 18 and a pro model working for Hudson jeans, Versace, Chanel and Rimmel while managing to appear in Vogues all around the world.

Photo of the Week!

This. Bag. Is. Amazing.

One of these days.

Today I ran outside to find still NO camera. Sony said it should have been back by now.. and nothing. Just another shoot, walking around with my best friends.

I always wear those two necklaces. They are my birds.

60s Fox Friday- Nicole Richie

Nicole Richie is a self proclaimed 60s lover with the wardrobe to prove it. She has that earthy, hippie style of the late 60s early 70s, complete with flowy floral dresses, woven head bands, floppy hats, long wavy hair, and a fabulous jewelry collection all from House of Harlow 1960.
Most of these photos are from Nicole's shoot with Harper's Bazaar.

France Gall 1968

French singer and yé-yé girl, France Gall, showing us how to put together pop looks for the 1968 issue of Madamoiselle Age Tendre. She always wore those very Paris Berets over her golden blonde hair. This layout is fantastic; colared shirts, high-waisted skirts, and oxfords everywhere.
I love her in that blue striped dress and red hat!

The Modern Fringe

A fringe became especially popular in the mid 60s and now it's back for another round! I love my fringe and I'm so happy I went for it. :)

60s Fox friday- Julie Christie!

This Friday is all about Julie Christie, an actress who still works today and who is still just as beautiful! Christie won best actress for her role in the 1965 movie, "Darling".
This British sex symbol had that 60 feminine flirty style down.

Here is Julie Christie in the mid 60s and here she is today. Stunning!

And some kinds of love are mistaken for vision.

I never really write a lot on my blog. But I think I'm going to write something I strongly believe in: My eyes. Your vision is something everyone takes for granted everyday, but it's SO important. Vision shows you the most beautiful things in the world. And EVERYTHING is beautiful. We are so lucky to be able to see it, (whatever it may be.) Every day I walk outside my house I am amazed by what I see all around me. The way that the afternoon drowns all the small red, brown, and white houses in a haze of light deep into the valley below. The sweet and comforting face of my goat grazing through bright green grass. I've seen some truly incredible things and that is all thanks to those eyes that are irreplaceable. Treasure them they are the greatest source of optimism.

But back to the fashion...
