It's a Warhol Valentines!

Happy V day everyone!

The 60s Eye.

Something that I have adopted into my look over the last year is the 60s eye makeup. 

Mainly the winged liner and coats of mascara that you see in my outfit posts. 

60's style cannot be complete without the makeup!

The heavy and structured liner and mascara was really made popular by the model Twiggy.

Let me just say.. I now have about 140 readers! That's really crazy and awesome, and I have all of you to thank! So.. thank you! Everything that I couldn't keep.

Today has been so nice! my camera FINALLY came back from the shop, after a month of being away. I'm so happy! I got to try out my new 1.8 lens and it's pretty amazing! I also received my new 5 in 1 reflector set too. I will start taking photos today and hopefully get some new great looks. I took this leopard scarf out of my mom's closet.. Sorry mom! It will be back in there soon! :)

60s Fox Friday- Ann Margaret

The great thing about Ann Margaret was that her look was so versatile. So could pretty much wear anything and pull off any hair colour. (My favorite on her was red) She is best known for her staring role in "Bye Bye Birdie" (1963) and her movie with Elvis, "Viva La Vegas"(1964).

60s Spring Inspiration!

In California, the chill air is starting to fade into that sweet sunshine we call Spring. And with the warm air, blooming flowers, green grass and fluffy cloud skies comes changes in fashion. The skirts get shorts, the overcoats fall off, and the sunnies slide on. For those of you feeling that spring fever, here's some 1960s spring inspiration!
