Soooooo, my camera broke. My Sony A850 is no more.. for now. I'm sending it in to get it fixed soon, but I plan on buying a new camera asap! (Probably the Sony A99.)

My shutter motor gave out after only 2 1/2 years becuase of exhaustion. I have pushed the shutter button hundreds of thousands of times over those years.

I was right in the middle of a photo shoot when my camera.. just stopped working. I felt so heart broken. But now I am looking at this as an opportunity to move forward with my gear and my images!

For this look I wanted to experiment with pattern mixing, something I really don't do with my looks, but I love it! I will be doing this kind of stuff much more.

Grey and Navy Days

I love playing with tones in photos. Mixing cold and warm tones in the same image is my absolute favorite. So when I come across a grey meadow with the remnants of a stone home, and golden afternoon light, I get giddy.

Tomorrow I'm headed to LA to shoot a Lookbook for an up and coming designer and I couldn't be more nervous and excited. Whenever I get a big  photography opportunity I get a little sick until I'm actually there and working. Then when I'm seeing everything coming together in front of my eyes, I feel perfect.

Thank you to wonderful Chicwish for the most perfect outfit I've ever put together!! Its so 60s looking; Peter pan collar and shift skirt. I actually also wore this outfit for a couple's lifestyle shoot I modeled in last week! (I will share some of those photos when I get them as well! They so really adorable.)
