At the SF Vintage Expo a couple weekends ago, Mod Cloth approached my sister and I for some photos of our vintagey outfits! The second photo of the 20's cloche girl is Melanie, my sis, and the third photo is me!(however odd my facial expression is...)
Last Saturday (9-18), I took my best friend, and my sister to the SF Vintage Expo! When we walked, we were in awe of all the phenomenal vintage pieces from every era. Here are a few examples of what was there. (Sorry about the low photo quality!)
My vintage finds- The second and third rings are from the expo. One of the rings is a 1960s opal cocktail ring. It is so beautiful!
The second and forth rings are from the expo as well.
Hello, my foxes! I'm leaving for Sf tomorrow and I decided to find a little 60s sf inspiration. When I return, I plan to do a post about 1960s hippie fashion! Have a great weekend!

An old-time theater in my town called the Fremont, played Alfred Hitchcock's 1963, thriller "The Birds" last night as a part of their monthly classic movie series. My family and I went to see this amazing movie and made an event out of it. Surprisingly, I had NEVER seen the movie before last night! No doubt it was scary, beautiful, and incredibly well done all around. The suspense and mystery of it made the movie all the more gorgeous. Here is a bit of 1963 inspiration from The Birds:
Tippi' Hedren as Melanie Daniels-
The iconic green suit that Tippi wears most of the movie-
Suzanne Pleshette as the Bodega bay school teacher, Annie Hayworth-
I've been searching for that perfect pair of classic pants, ones with slanted side pockets, high waist, pleating, ending at the ankle, and the right shade of dark blue. Thanks to my good friend's mom, I finally found them! These type of "grandpa" pants seem to be popular amongst young fashion bloggers right now.
