In the early British 1960s, the younger culture was basically separated into two hip groups; The Mods- The suit wearing, Italian Vespa riding, proper modernists, and The Rockers- The grungy, hog riding, leather wearing rock and rollers.
These groups didn't exactly get along and caused a few big newsworthy riots.

It seems like every fashion blogger these days must be a rocker judging by their motorcycle boots and studded everything...but I think I might be a mod. Don't tell!
ReplyDeleteI'm most def. a rocker, but I will say I love some of the mod stylings. Leather jackets just about sum up why I love that style - and done right, just the way you've worn it - it can be feminine yet badass!
