March Bows

Bag- Oasap.com, Skirt- Urban outfitters, Pussy bow blouse- My friend, Pete

I LOVE this little purse. Okay, so I'd like to think I'm the best of two worlds; badass and romantic, and this bag provides me with both in that it has a leather texture and cute feminine detailing. I like to have a little bow with my black and white leather. The nice people at Oasap sent this bag to me and Ive used it everyday since!
And my birthday is in 2 days! Ahhh! What to do, what to do. Regardless of my exciting bday activity, I will be taking photos to show my readers, whoever you are!
Sometimes.. life is shit. Sometimes you work really hard for things that maybe in the real world and the grand scheme of things don't even matter. And even if you don't achieve those things at least you achieved working to get them. And that's what school is. It's a silly thing that you work and work at but doesn't always get you where you want to be. So I done working at school, and I'm going to start working at real life. Because the only things that really matter to me are the real things. Not bullshit units and grades.
So no, I'm not finishing school. But that doesn't mean I'm going to fail at life. I'm going to be extremely successful because I'm a driven individual who is very, very passionate about photography.
I know how to work hard at that and I am more than happy to do it. This lady is done wasting her time, money and resources on school. And the thing about me is I know I'm going to do well. I have no doubt in my mind. Even if I have to contact every fashion photographer in every fashion magazine, I'm going to do it, no problem. Although this week has been extremely disappointing, I'm going to be fine. there's a big world out there that extends beyond what the educational system cons young people into believing. You don't need a bought piece of stamped paper to get everything you want in life.
Sorry, but I'm not buying anymore.

  1. I completely agree with your opinion on school. It's unfortunate that we are raised to think that the only way to succeed is with traditional grade & high school and the university.

  8. love the loose bow on the top! so pretty:) I'm having a hard time grappling with similar concerns right now....I really wanted to be a film professor, and you really can't get there without a masters and PHD.....but it just feels like my whole life will be The System wringing me dry, so I'm starting to have second thoughts about applying to grad school. I really love photography and filmography as well, and I feel like it could be a total possibility to make a passionate and artful career out of that and forget academics....but it's neither simple nor easy.

i'm glad you're at a happy and confident place with it all.

  9. That is exactly how I view my education at the moment. I feel like it's completely wasting my time AND my money because if I finish school, I would have a debt of $-0,000 and it's so disheartening knowing that I owe such a huge amount of money for learning things I don't like.
I'd love to quit school and work towards my dream as a fashion photographer but I know my parents wouldn't let.
I'm so happy that your family and loved ones support your decision on leaving school and following your dreams. I have complete faith in you that you will get somewhere and I hope to read your name credited in a magazine!

Also, go get it girl! I'm positive you can make it in the photography world. Your last paragraph is certainly inspiring. In this world, success is achievable for anyone, no matter if you graduate or not.
